Bridging Student Innovation and Academic Publishing: The Academic Vision for Peer Review, Mentorship, and Journal Opportunities at ICASE-2026
Increasing the Standard for Student Research Academic Excellence
Helping students turn their research projects into published journal articles is an essential part of higher education today. At The University of Faisalabad, academic success depends upon giving students the essential support they require to turn their ideas into recognized scholarly work. Academic conferences should do more than just provide standard presentations; real innovation is achieved when students actively participate in presenting and refining their work.
Our objective is to connect student innovation with rigorous academic publishing through the Post Graduate Office and the editorial board of our research journal, Innovations in STEAM: Research & Education (ISRE). We work for connecting student and graduate researchers with international specialists during the 4th International Conference on Advanced STEAM Education (ICASE-2026), transforming class projects, and theses into published literature.
A Structured Pathway to Becoming a Published Author
The 4th International Conference on Advanced STEAM Education (ICASE-2026) serves as a practical platform that helps students move from presenting their work to publishing it. Working together, the Directorate of Academics and the Post Graduate Office provide direct guidance to support student researchers throughout the process:
- Student Poster Competitions: A structured session where students display their work, gather direct feedback from visiting experts, and improve their research methods.
- Editorial & Publication Mentorship: Hands-on support to help students format their papers correctly and navigate the peer-review process.
- Interdisciplinary Collaborative Tracks: Nine specialized session areas—such as artificial intelligence, healthcare systems, green innovation, and human-centered design—that make it easy for students across different departments to work together.
Innovations in STEAM: Research & Education (ISRE) scholarly publishing
ICASE-2026 collaborates closely with our transdisciplinary research publication, Innovations in STEAM: Research & Education (ISRE), to assist student research reach a larger audience:
- A platform Recognized by HEC: Selected articles submitted by December 31 and presented at ICASE-2026 will be taken into consideration for our HEC 'Y' Category journal's Special Issue.
- Article Processing Charge (APC) Waiver: Accepted conference papers will receive a full Article Processing Charge (APC) waiver in order to maintain publication accessibility for students.
- A Double-Blind Peer Review: To guaranty excellent research quality and scholarly reputation, all publications undergo regular editorial checks and peer review.
